Message to the Future Foundation
Message to the Future Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to saving vulnerable scenic landscapes. Our initial focus is to identify rural scenic drives. Collaborating with the arts community, M2TF will create a collection of art in a campaign to slow down or prevent development of these landscapes by inspiring landowners to become good stewards of their unique asset. There are a number of ways you can assist our mission. Find out more on November 9th about how you can make a difference! Sponsor a Scenic Drive By sponsoring a scenic drive your funds will help in the placing of tasteful signs, planting flowers, and recruiting volunteers and landowners to keep the drive beautiful. Commissioning a Landscape Artist Art is the cornerstone of our program. Landscape Artists need subject matter and their artwork will assist us in preserving landscapes throughout the US. We will build a collection that will document the rural scenic drives as they are today, and use this collection to create awareness of our effort. Nominate Scenic Drives It is important that we find rural scenic drives to educate their owners and commission landscape artist to document them. Highway 15 from Athens to Adrian, GA is a charming 150 mile rural highway that meanders through old southern towns and runs along fantastic country farms. M2TF working with foundations, corporations and land trusts will look for funding to help educate the landowners on the advantages of protecting their scenic landscape. |
